Do you think the embassy will accept if I ask them to call DHL to pick up my passport from the embassy? I have tried many times to arrange that with DHL Canada and Syria but no solution (DHL canada deal only with companies for import express). Also, I tried other courier company and no solution. please any suggestion

I think u should go to DHL advise them this is passport and ure expecting ur visa and its urgent ,if u need to open an account and pre pay the fees and advise them the embassy cannot and will not go to dhl to drop it off u need to schedule a pick up from damascus that u will pre pay on ure visa and they should understand everyone has done this ure not the first one using DHL so i am surprised why they wouldnt cooperate . try it and let us know.

Dear Ahmad

they need to apply personnaly with an invitation you send but they will need to proff that they will return to their country of residence once the visit visa expires ...that is a little difficult to do since the spouse is in canada ....therefor the chances are slim to none .
