My husband got to Syria this morning at 7:30 he waited until they opened at 8 and went in to give his passport, pictures and the copy of the email. He said there were only about 4 other people. The lady told him to come back tomorrow at 3:30 to pick up his visa Andddd he told me nothing is going on in Damascus it's safe. Maybe it's other cities.. Good luck everyone!!!

i mailed my wife's passport today as well, but i didn't put a copy of their email, just wrote our file number, is that enough??

I think that's fine because they don't specify for courrier that you need to send a copy of the email however if you do go in person you do need a copy of the email so they let you into the embassy..

How long do you think it will take to have it sent back to you?

I talked to the DHL guy, he said it takes about 2 to 4 weeks, they will call me so I have to go back to DHL to pick it up. On the Email explains that it takes about 4 weeks and we don't have it by 6 weeks, we should contact them.

yes that is what my lawyer send and it is confirmed by an email from damasucs
everyone should redo medical when it is almost a year and did not hear from visa office even if they did not ask you guys as geminibella said anyway you must have valid medical before you enter canada so just do it again and save time( i wish i did not listen to my lawyer and listen to my wife anyway it is too late now and I am looking forward to hear from them by end of nov), keep a copy of green sheet and send it by registered mail they prefer dhl courier in damasucs or drop it yourself to damasucs.

Ya rab bring all loved ones together soon and keep families together forever

The funny part is yesterday I honestly felt that we were gonna get contacted somehow so while I was in the car with my uncle I said yay the embassy opens tomorrow and he was like okkkayyy? I'm like cause they close on fri and sat. Yiiii my chance THANK YOU ALLAH!!!
