Hi everyone. Hope good news are in the way and we will be cheered up soon.

I have a question for the experts (especially Sohrab jan): My husband (the sponsor) has a job offer from US and we are worried what happens to our case if I join him in US. As he is a CA citizen, I guess he needs to prove he will be back in CA. We received the approval letter in Dec 7th; Do you believe we gonna hear sth till September? (he can not postpone the start date later than October) As there is no time line, we are confused.
CIC keeps saying our file is not in Canada so it shud be in Ankara by now , but i believe no file transferred after August!!
So what is the best choice?
Leaving Iran for US stops the PR process in Ankara?

then they say their source is:

Unless we see such link on their site, it's hard to believe such news!

Hi my friends!

Today I checked my E-case! It was updated today! Ankara VO confirmed that my second Medical result received! I know it's not exciting news, but at least it's a good sign showing Ankara VO is working well in March! :

I redid the medical test in February , and I emailed the copy of the green sheet to Ankara VO. after 25 days VO received my medical result!

BTW , VO never asked me to redo the medical test and I passed 11 months!
hope to get good news soon!

I was just wondering if that 25 days was since the day you redid your medical or since the day it reached Paris? I know it is only a few days difference in there, but vivi is curious! Just wanted to get an idea of how long it is taking for Paris to process the medical.

Dear Farid,
I am pretty sure it does not mean another extra 12 months for the files that were processed to some stage already in Damascus. It is just a prediction for the new files that never made their way to Damascus and no processing has been done on them, still it is just a prediction from a lawyer, could be wrong as we all know with CIC nothing is predictable!
I also think the prediction might not be that off, before getting Syria's files processing time for sponsorship in Ankara was 5 months, with a 500% increase in the number of the files they had we all knew the 5 months will go up, 12 months doesn't sound that off, most of the sponsorship files in Damascus were Iranian files (I am pretty sure I read this somewhere, don't remember where! ) and Damascus took 14 months according to CIC's most recent update. So the number of months it will probably take Ankara to process the files will be more closer to Damascus's timeline, but still less than that. That's how I think they got this 12 months! Just with some math and formula, even poor CIC itself doesn't know the timeline for the future! Lots and lots of things could be going on in Ankara that lawyers don't know about and can't put in their formula! Such as hiring new staff or thing like that ...
So I personally don't think this 12 months means anything or is important at all

note : they did not change it since 1 year, what do you think my friends plz tell me is it good sign or not.
