my husband's ecad finally changed today. it's been the same this entire time but today they added "medical results have been received". I know this probably doesn't mean much but any little thing makes me so excited lol

if ur brother sends it then he can send to any of them; but i think the pobox one does not give confirmation on delivery not sure; if u send from Iran then it's faster and safer by courier like DHL which requires the courier address since they won't deliver it to a pobox

yaaaay goooooood congrats, so u r in January batch then u seeee relax how did u find out? by email? and can u login in ur ecas? in a few days, one week max u will get the approval!!!!!....now on the envelope u send with option C (if u will still send it) u can write ur client number, file number, ur name, dob and no idea what more, sohrab will tell u

We redid the medical around Jan 15... can't remember the exact day! And yes my husband faxed me the green sheet and I scanned and emailed it in to Damascus(but obviously made it's way to Ankara) around the 20th of January. I hope they acknowledge receiving yours SOON!!! I am so full of this positive feeling that all of us will start celebrating PPR soon

so true Vivi.... the silence has made us to be more excited for little things! when I read his ecas I felt like crying tears of joy then I got so excited that I called my husband.... even though it was midnight for him! I was like a little kid in a candy store!! Then I laughed at myself... imagine how I will react at PPR if I am this excited over a sentence that really means nothing! ha!

I received a call from my MP today after a request for a status update she sent 3 weeks ago.

I am not sure if this is bad or good NEWS but i thought that i must share it with my friends here.

She said that your File is on Route to Amman (Something that i already know as per the website).

I said that i already know that, she goes (well we will not be able to get any updates until your files hits an immigration officer's desk and it must be logged in Amman first)

She also added that CIC told her to check again if i do not receive a response in 60 days.

As if we have not been patient enough I think that they expect us to put our feelings aside and wait.... They do not understand that waiting for a wife all that long is not like waiting a train to arrive.

I decided not to complain anymore... It is pointless and will not help. I just hope that every officer involved in making our lives tough goes through similar difficulties in life so they would understand what we go through. I had to remove the past year out of my memory and throw it a way.

I tried many times to explain rah. it is hopeless. To them we are just a bunch of people coming to take their jobs away.

They do not understand how it feels.

And you are absolutely right we do not need sympathy, why would we. We are all contributing to the economy.
