Well I'm going to try to be optimistic today

I guess today is just one of those not so good days...I really wanted to be home in time for Christmas. I am staying here with my husband in Lebanon, but I am young and I really miss my family back home. I didn't get to spend Christmas with them last year so I was hoping for this year. It's getting close to Christmas so I don't think we'll be able to make it...well I guess there's always next year

My cic letter stated that my files got transferred to Ottawa and thst I will be advised if it gets transfered to Syria. haaaa 7 months and still did not hear a thing. Im listed on the spreasheet, and really cannot call them. I did try and they told since ur file is in Ottawa we cannot help, only if it is in Syria. It just does not make sense. But I will try and see if my husband can go to Beirut to get a temp VISA

Can you not call the CIC calling centre? I'm pretty sure it's on the website. Maybe they can help...
