Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

I just sent an email to damascus with the previous info saying that they sent me an email on july 24th saying the file would be done within 9 months as its their priority to finalize it within that time frame.. i hope they wont write back like oh well sorry but it has now been changed to 13 months.. .. i also wrote to them saying that I no longer wish for Dalton McGuintys office in Ottawa South, Ontario to gather any information bout my file.. I think that should be good enough not to let them receive anything else ... ummm what else oh ya at the end I also said I hope that the situation in syria gets better

soooooooo that was the email I sent I hope they reply soon.. they seem to reply pretty quick tho 2 weeks i guess*still quicker than the MP's office!!!*.. we shall wait and see... sit down and enjoy the ride.. where's the popcorn ?

It is my 6 months 2 weeks and NO answer to my e-mail from the embassy! What I know It is just "We received your application..." from e-cas,
Yesterday I checked my e-cas again, I found that they add "IN PROCESS"
Wallah depressing!

From what what I understood from different lawyers and asking different ppl, they go by the current processing times.

I think you should call the office and let them know because they get the updates from the ministers office and not from Damascus.

on my last visit to change my passport i saw Australian citizen lady doing her papers, documents I asked that lady (AUSTRALIAN) why she choose the Canadian embassy she said that all Australians must go to the Canadian embassy to get help cause they don't have Australian embassy in Syria


I think they have extra job in the embassy that's why they look so busy maybe ???!!!

yeah its really funny there is absoloutley no pattern when it comes to emails, sometimes you ask stupid question they reply quickly, sometimes you ask serious/important questions they dont even reply, its weird..... frustrating for sure
