After six months, when they asked us to submit the RQ form last week. they asked us to return the completed form to VISA section instead of the immigration section, I wonder if they have asked everybody to return their forms to visa section?

please let me know what was your experience

for me they had just given us the general mailing address no specific requirement

When they asked you to submit it? is this the first time they asked you? i have emailed them the RQ and when i asked for the confirmation they said yes we have recieved nither visa section nor immigration section

It's the first time but after 6 months. they asked for it last week.

Dont worry it is fine i got mine after 4 months. first email the RQ and to be on the safe side mail them where ever they told then you will be fine inshallah

when you say you sent it by e-mail. it is a signed paper. did you scan the signed version?

go ahead and plan for your new couple lives in canada!

looks like most of the cases are processed under 10 months! which is not bad at all. not to mention many cases finish in less than 6 months!!

let's stop nagging and spreading negative thoughts.

not to mention, this group does not represent a scientific sample population to judge the processing time. when there is no ppr in a week, it just means that none of the people in this group got ppr, that's all.

things in syria are quiet and life is going on as usual at least in the capital.

yes, ask your wife to fill it and sign it ofcourse by counsulting with you, then ask her to scan it and send it to you to email it. then ask her to DHL it to you and you mail it to damascus. i think it is better for you to send it from canada cause mailing service in iran and syria may not be safe due to civil unrest.

guys i had a general question , on the website the email adress has changed for some reason
it says

it used to be

damascus-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

is it still the same or has it changed?
