but nagham since the first day i came to canada (december 2010) till now, i've never experienced summer and spring! lol! its just winter for me, and sometimes a bit like autumn! i don't know why i packed my suitcases with all my t-shirts when i was coming here! haha!

Hi I'm new to this forum, however I've been following the posts.

It's nice to know that I'm not alone in this agonizing wait.

My problem: Sponsored my husband (Lebanese), it's been in process since July, 2010. Is it pointless now to get my MP involved to look into his case? Would I be wasting my time and aggravating the situation?

here is a funny story, when i went to iran, in the winter i took like 1 suitcase of warm clothes, the EXACT opposite of you....... hahhahaha, but the only reason i did that is because there was a MASSIVE storm in tehran with like 5 meters of snow so yeah lol but when i got there it was all gone hahahahahaha

july 2010? did they ask you for more documents is this why it's taking so long!? did you try sending them a specific case inquiry from the website!? you've been waiting for almost 12 months!

thank you for your support, i appreciate it , if you remember a while back you told me you weren't Iranian but your wife is, we had the same discussion over GIRL'S IN IRAN MARRYING GUYS for VISA, and after a bit of a debate we agreed to disagree... my dear friend, the "REASONING" is what i mention and what i talk about, sometimes and in certain situations you cant mention everything..... its not a lack of explanation or anything like that , but its simply DISCRETION....... as Iranians say MASJED JAYE GOOZIDAN NIST, this is a forum for people to share opinions/experiences and advice', so why would i want to turn it into a counseling center.... at the end of the day i know you meant well ,

Well my father is/was iranian...but he left my mother before I was born and we never heard from him. So I guess by birthright Iran recognizes me as an iranian but I do not hold any citizenship. So when I travel to iran I travel on Canadian documentaion with visa issued from Iranian embassy...hence the reason I have to get Mashmool ejazeh etc. But I mean my farsi sucks, I have no proof of being Iranian, and by paperwork im purely Canadian.

I have a Friend who is Belgium and he have a Iranian citizenship, he always travel to Iran with his Belgium passport With no problems, and the last time he went to Iran was 4 months ago.
By the way he was born in Belgium but his father is Iranian citizen so he got the citizenship from his father

well canadians cant........
