Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

Dear all,

I need help . As i am under Backlog application ( Sept. 2006 NOC 3131 ).

Now i am planning to apply for Fast Track after going through number application filed till 26 June 2010 . Also 3131 is under new 29 Catagory.

But i have some questions on documentation requirements .

(1) Getting educational trascripts under university sealed envelop ? What exactly is the meaning of it ? what is the way to get it ? My educational is from three different universities . ( University of Rajasthan , Jaipur , IGNOU & ICFAI University New Delhi ) Any one have idea of any university how to get educational trascripts under university sealed envelop from these universities ?

(2) What are the exact documents required from my Employer ?

(3) 3131 is fall under FSW1 or FSW2 ?

(4) Do i need to send Proof of Fund with application ? If yes then what is way & how to present it to CIO ?

(5) Is it possible to that my OLD application & New Application run parallely ? When should i withdraw my OLD application ?

(6) Need to know how much points i will get from Education.

10+2 = Full time after that

2 year Diploma in Pharmacy = Fulltime

3 year Bachelor in Computer Application = distance mode from IGNOU , New Delhi

2 year Master in Business Administration = Distance mode from ICFAI University .Dehradun.

My both the Distance university is UGC Approved .

Kindly Help to take firm decision to apply for Fast Track,

I did not sleep last night thinking of all this
and rezan as eli said we dont want to say what is happening but the reason we are here on this thread to give an advice/ idea/ estimate time of what is happening in our files and ecourage each other (I AM NOT GOING TO ADMIT CRY ON EACH OTHERS SHOULDERS) WE ARE ADULTS SHOULD HAVE NO FEELINGS FOR CRYING PROBABLY THAT IS WHAT THE OFFICER THINK THAT WE SHOULD BE ADULTs AND HOLD OUR FEELINGS FOR OUR WIVES AND HUSBANDS,
anyway, there is a process in each organization that take place and action and may be they have to follow their manual procedure in processing time. I am hoping to hear from them soon and same for all of us here

I have a strange feeling that someone is going to say: hoooraaayyyyyyy I received my passport request today!
Finally Damascus will make all of us MAD!

I think now its right time for damascus to change their application processing times to these numbers: 8,9,11,12
4,5,7,8 is not correct anymore!
As you see from these numbers, they simply added a "4" to their processing times in 2009-2010 without prior notice!

Questionaire recieved on June 6, 2010
Sent back: June 29, 2010
No new requests since then

I wish we will get the VISA soon, we have been waiting for so long time.
I understand you guys and feel the same way. Its hard to wait and to be away from your loved ones.
Hope all of you will get the VISA but be patient, the time line seems to take longer than before,
I think the average processing time in Damascus will be around 7-8 months.

Please help me out, you know that they requested for my wife's passport on Oct 4th. It was sent on Oct 5th and received by the embassy on Oct 11th. We never heard back from them until now. Should I be worried? My wife sent them an email and tried to call them but didn't any replies or any info over the phone.

Is it normal to take that long?

HI Leo,

We had the same worry as well because my husband was waiting for them to contact FedEx to collect it, but what ended up happening was that the embassy emailed my husband and told him that they wouldn't release his passport to the FedEx people if they did not provide his file number and full name to them. So keep checking your emails and I'm sure you'll get it back soon.

I am only supposed to send Fedex to them once I get an email from the Embassy that the passport is ready for pickup, right?

welcome hope !
I received an email from my lawyer, he thinks :
The visa office will continue to be operational as government workers only take 2 days national vacations during the Christmas holidays. It may slow down a little, but it will not be significant.
So how do you think ? if he is true then what a good news !
I am very anxious because I have to be there for winter session or my plans will be messed up !!
I am now training surgery in one of the most busy emergency departments, lots of people with heart attacks and life-threatening problems admit everyday, what I can tell you is that we all should be grateful to god because we are healthy and will have our loved one with us soon... I had a patient yesterday who had a CVA and he was suffering from paralysis, he couldn't eat or drink, We supposed to do a GASTEROTOMY. Here is where you see why you should be thank full and see also the other side of your life...
Although we all are suffering from desperation but at least we know we will meet our loved one soon, we are healthy, can walk, can eat, can speak with our lovie, can walk in the rain, can laugh, can think and many more things !!! all These things that are seems ordinary to you are the desires for others,, believe me ,,, I see lots of these patients everyday,,,
Be strong,,, support your lovie and enjoy your life,,, at least you can send photos and use video conference apps....
