vivi joon you wont believe it , i ended up with the biggest GERE(knot) in my life ,
this was the main reason i was gone from the page for like 2 days....... i went to iran, i was supposed to stay for 3 months.... i stayed for 6 , then got married then stayed for another 6 and realized my iranian passport is expired, my passport was issued in iran since i wasnt here obviously, and when i went to the embassy today........ they were like you cant go back..... you no longer qualify for the MASHMOOL so if you want to go back you have to buy it for 10, 000 , 000 toman which is about 12,000 $ , so i was like what the hell are you talking about i am still a mashmool, one thing led to another and i am waiting for a decision........... by the way mashmool doesnt exactly have an english translation but the best i can say is EXEMPT ....., anyways i have my ticket, bags are packed..... and this passport thing is ......... :'( :'( :'( :'( :-[

Anyway I'm guessing you meant when you WENT you stayed for 6 MONTHS and then and extra 6 ... this whole paying thing is ridiculous honestly..... anyway i really wish you the best I know how excited you were to surprise your wife.

bekhoda nemidoonam....... what pisses me off is the fact that ive been going to iran every year for 3 months since 2004 with no problems, but now since the passport was issused in iran.... they are playing games ....... i got a ticket, i bought gifts...... thinking i wont have any problems....... but i was SHOCKED when they said this........ i hope they let me know soon..... otherwise........ :-X :'( ???
