dear nagz, let me tell you something, its weird how this happened twice in 1 day , a friend of mine got the exact same email, and he ended up going to the embassy and they interviewed him and he was told the only reason they asked is if you have an investment/career/assets in another country why should canada trust you wanting to move your location, its a stability question..... if its a stable job/business, they question it since they want to make sure that the person has NO OTHER options than canada, but for example if i have 5 business' in 5 countries and my wife SPONSORS ME they would wait, why does he need sponsorship, why doesnt he just invest?! they want to boost the economy of canada so basically they are saying if you have money already why are you being sponsored, just buy a land in canada and you will be a citizen, so as long as your husband can prove that this isnt a life invest or anything the case is fine , dont worry about it , and regarding mail, its just a timeline, they gave my friend the same time limit, but he couldnt meet it, since he only had 12 days and mail took 15 days, but he provided the info and it was fine

its called investment my friend, many many people have gotten PR then eventually citizenship by investing in canada, i am surprised you havent heard about this, its the second most popular method of coming to canada after student visa

its called investment my friend, many many people have gotten PR then eventually citizenship by investing in canada, i am surprised you havent heard about this, its the second most popular method of coming to canada after student visa

If you are talking about the entruproner class then I my self is an entruprouner immigrant.
In this class you have to open a business and hire somebody who is either Canadian or landed immigrant.
So can you please show me were does it say on the cic website that if you buy a land then you can even get a visitor visa.
Ny friend Canada is very tough in issuing visas and they won't issue a visa if you have a land in Canada.

i sent you a link, i never said anything about CIC, and let me tell you something, its not tough at all if you have money, i personally know 3 people who bought houses in canada through a lawyer, then they showed the permit and got their visa, they came here, stayed and became citizens in 3 years, when i say money i mean 400,000 $ or more, it shows on the link, its called INVESTOR CLASS, you can search it on google,

half of the BUSINESS of immigration lawyers comes from this, i mean its ridicolous, i was in iran for 1 year, they showed Advertisements about immigration lawyers 24/7 and its ALL about investments, not WORKER VISA or Entrepreneur, basically give us your money and we will give you an opportunity, 400,000 $ isnt a joke, 90 % of people dont make that much in their life, so its an option they know VERY few people will use......

no but sohrab my husband doesn't own the business his cousins do and he is just an employee. he's in another country since he was 18 cuz there is no jobs in Lebanon . an the company shut down and reopened under another name I think the company s doing tax evasion. apparently everyone does that there. I think thats why they are asking him abt the company. but I mean he's just am employee getting a monthly salary he didn't invest anything in this company. he has lands in Lebanon but I mean who doesn't own land in their home coutry it's very common!!

so then the simplest answer is they are trying to buy time, remember the second medical thing? instead of asking sara for a medical they want her in syria, so i wouldnt be surprised if they come up with new regulations just to delay a little bit, but hey dont worry itll be fine, your going in 1 month and by then im sure you will have status and come back together

But what I know is that the investor program you have to invest 800000 with the Canadian government

But they changed the rule and now you have to invest 800000 dollars for 5 years
