If you think you have it bad,,,,,,,try waiting since april 2009 for my partner to join me here in Canada. (3 1/2 years ) I lost my job over depression and now Im scared to get off the meds in case they wish to play more with my life I will never forget how my govenment has treated me !!!

I am Canadian, my partner is Mexican. We have gone through denial and Appeal...... People need to know what lies ahead of them if they get an negative decision. The process is the same (as far as I know) just timelines are different. Good luck !

''not genuine" was the offical reason. Even if they say no to you, you can Appeal the decision. The problem is the wait times. In Toronto, it is currently about 2 years.

If I had to do it all over agian........I would say, prepare for the worst and hope for the best ! You will get here eventually....

I just want to inform the people , there are other people outside who are against us and against immigration.
Just do not sit . do something other than sending email to Visa offices.
Send your letters to where they send ,explain your situation .

They just know MONEY and EXPENSE.
