i got my own client id when i was filling out the forms and on august 9th i called them and the agent told me that i had been approved that day and i did not get my aor instead i was approved...therefore i had my client uci id but the letter never made it across canada to my house lol...very odd...

and the 2nd question...do u think it could be possible with the new wait times to get ppr in 3-4 months? inshala it will be for everyone.. another question is does this "in process" thing have a good meaning?? could it be that my file is actually really in process??? and how long should i wait to order my notes????? its been almost 50 days now in process... and ankara has not sent us anything at all yet...is that good or bad??? this is nerve recking!!!

as far as your first question goes, yes upon opening the file the embassy signed a number to it..it usually happens when they send you an email, it has the file number on it...i dont understand how the letter never got to you but you have a file number, where did u get your file number?? for ur second question, when it changed into process people usually got ppr the next day or week, this was about 6-7 month ago...but lately when it says in process apparently it takes about 3-4 month depending on the completeness of the file, such as medical, or background checks being complete or not...for the last question if i am not mistaken you can use your file number too because they can locate it using either file numbers....
i got my husbands file number through an email sent to me by ankara back in the day...so im sure when they send you an email itll have the file number on it too.....

ahhaha the letter never made it to your house, thats funny....in process is definitely good news and anything is possible, i personally have been waiting for 20 month and we have had people get their pprs with 9-10 month, and if you look at the chart you see the variation of ppr recipients... like i said in the previous post in process is a good sign- mine has been in process since july 3rd and im still waiting...but like i said it all depends on the completeness of the file, the medical and background checks take the longest apparently for some and for others it doesn't take that long, again this apparently depends on the number of countries the sponsored person have traveled, where they have worked, etccc....well you can always order the notes and you can find out something about ur file, its always an assurance on what the officer has said on ur file if opened....i just recently ordered mine hahah,,,,it takes about a month to get a reply back and you only have to pay 5 dollars..

dear alish, i also hasn't received any letter about sponsorship approval i even called them but they told me the same thing as they toldja. so don't u worry about it u can follow on line thing and c whats going on. in regard 2 the note, in my opinion it's vayyyyy early u want 2 order, because u don't get any useful info then u hafta order it several month later, so why not wait and order it in the future.

lol an angel sent it 2 me from ski , im kidding. i knew my UCI# as sponsor, the one i put on application forms, but i didn't know my wife File# until March 14 when i received email from Ankara indicating our application was transfered 2 Ankara and on that letter i noticed my wife File #.

I think it is just important for Quebec Sponsership like me , because I sent a copy of my approval letter to Quebec immigration office
in Montreal so then they issued a CSQ for sponsored person.

just one, the one on my PR card where it says: ID No. because at the time i applied 4 my wife i still was PR

alish honestly there is nothing 2 worry about. u just sign in to immigration on line and u get update. ur case is different than mine or kazhal or so many other sponsors, because our file was not sent directly 2 Ankara. so don't worry. ur ecas saying in process which is correct.
