Yes, it would make sense to have quotas for the skilled worker program. But I've never heard of quotas for family class (partners, spouses, and children). CIC always states that family reunification is their highest priority, so I'd say it would make a rather hard to prove argument if they want to introduce quotas for this category.Güzelyol said:There are quotas for Federal Skilled Worker Program, but I've never heard anything similar for family class sponsorship. I'm with you on the speed front. Especially to people who are separated from their family and are waiting for the visa to be processed, each day seems like much longer (which makes perfect sense to me).
