Abdullahj, thanks for the detailed update about Ankara, and congtas in advance for having the visa stamped... Seems like Ankara could handle the heavy summer work load and back to its ppr-full days... Gooshe Sheytun Kar!
Im in amman too, my application was recieved on july 4th 2011iwatchtv said:HI, I am Syrian. My wife applied to sponsor me and the application was received in July 28, 2011.
In January, 2012, after the notice on the website of the Canadian embassy in Syria, I went to check and I've been told that my application is not there. though my wife received a letter telling her that they sent the application to Damascus office 3 months ago.
I applied for visiting visa then I traveled to Canada as a visitor and I've been here for 6 months already.
I am very happy to be with with wife Tongue.
Cry the problem is I cant work. and i hate to be a burden on my wife.
I have to wait for my application in Amman. my ecase status is still the same (received in July 28, 2011)
My question is
how long am i gonna wait as its is 12 moths already? if i know for sure it would take one more year, i would apply as a refugee too so i can get to work! Shocked
thanks for everybody here. wish u all the best
thanks Abdullah for sharing the experience and congrats for ur visa, hope u enjoy ur reunion with ur wife.AbdullahJ said:Hi everyone, long time no see. I hope that you all be good and everything goes well with you. Yesterday I went to embassy to submit my passport. Although I heard that the day before (tuesday) was so crowded and more than 180 applicants had got there, but yesterday (wednesday) was not crowded. I arrived there at 6.30 a.m, and till 8.10 that they opened the door we were totally 9 iranians and 8 foreigners. Among iranian, me and another guy were in family class and the rest were skill worker and student applicants. The processing status of the other guy was very similar to mine. He had been applied last july and had received ppr last week. Anyway, don't be worry my friends. They are so busy and polite of course. On tuesday, although it was mentioned they accept passports till 10 a.m, but they had accepted till 12.30 p.m! Today i'm going to get my passport and if I get any news i'll share with you quickly.
