well the election is may 2nd but i mean if the government stays the way it is now they are going to make a big move on immigration since people have been complaining alot, so as we thought before , some changes are going to happen in the next month.... and besides we're going towards summer and lots of new cases are going in so they have to work faster to get rid of old ones !

.. I totally understand you. I have my final exams this week and next week and it's keeping my mind off things. plus i'm planning my honeymoon and stuff so I'm keeping myself busy until july . ya rabbbbbbbb i hope this nightmare will end soon.

My Update

as you know guys the PM send damscus office e-mil month ago, this is what I got so far

This refers to your e-mail message received on March 15, 2011 concerning the above named applicant.

We regret the delay in responding to your message below, the email was transferred to the wrong mail box.

Please be advised that Mr. *****application was received on September 21, 2010 at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga and the departmental standard for processing spouse cases is twelve (12) months from submission of the sponsorship to visa issuance. Spouses have the highest processing priority and the application is in the queue for review by the responsible officer. Current processing time in Damascus is nine (9) months from receipt of the approved sponsorship.

The application is anticipated to be reviewed by June 2011.

The applicant will be contacted when the application reaches the next stage of processing. Of course, it is most helpful to us if the contact information remains up-to-date and the clients respond to our requests in as timely a manner as possible.

My MP got the same kind of message from them to. I started my file before you so they said they will review it in May 2011. Lets hope the embassy doesn't close and we all process quickly, inshallah.

exactly, they just say that you dont have any expectations, there is no way for them to know when EXACTLY they process, i mean unless ure missing documents there is no reason for it to be delayed!

yes i know that u sent ur documents on time..this is not about delay on sending documents...dont worry...i just ask u about ur situation if they need additional documents after RQ or not???i think they said this thing because they want us to be patient and not sendung them an inquiry...

questionnaire along with other documents that they may ask that you didn't send them. For example me they asked for the questionnaire and the police record of my husband in Gabon.
