There r many small points that I can share with u guys.Raha said:Tabrikaaaat Siavash jan, Please publish your "Ankara Safarnameh" as soon as you can. Wish you a safe trip and have tons of fun ahead!!!
I am sure Ankara is working pretty hard to decrease the volume of files; hundreds of files(or maybe thousands) were transferred from Damascus and now count us in this forum.
The same story goes on in other VOs too. So No Worries my friends. We all already got it!

To choose my hotel, I searched tripadvisor and read travelers comments then booked my room through booking.com.
My hotel was a 4-star hotel named "Turist Hotel" and was 6KM away from the embassy. If u insist to reserve ur hotel close to the embassy its not a good option; however, as Ankara has a very convenient public transportation system I could easily going to the embassy by bus.
Bus fare is only 2 Lira and is much cheaper than taxi, so I think i made a right decision to book a hotel close to city center where all the shopping malls and historical sight seeings situated rather than the embassy.
While u r in Ankara u only need to go to embassy twice but u definitely want to visit city center regularly, so don't make ur choice solely on the distance from the embassy.

yes siavash joon if i was being sponsored i would book my hotel in antaliya, take a swim, have a beer then fly to izmir do a little tanning, then kayseri for shopping, then goreme for culture then my visa, ( i lived in turkey for 1 year) but when someone , ESPECIALLY an iranian husband, is sending their wife, they want something convenient , close, safe...... forget sight seeing babasiavashf said:There r many small points that I can share with u guys.

if she is going to be alone my wife and mother in law and brother in law are going to be there at the sametime too.If your scared for her well been.sohrab919 said:yes siavash joon if i was being sponsored i would book my hotel in antaliya, take a swim, have a beer then fly to izmir do a little tanning, then kayseri for shopping, then goreme for culture then my visa, ( i lived in turkey for 1 year) but when someone , ESPECIALLY an iranian husband, is sending their wife, they want something convenient , close, safe...... forget sight seeing baba
for example me, i rather pay 100 $ for a taxi then have my wife get on a bus in turkey, thats why i got her a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back for 60,000 toman , yeah she can go walk around, shop do whatever, but having peace of mind is a whole different story.....

Maybe because I'm a boy I didn't notice. But I found Ankara a very safe city with friendly ppl who can't speak English!!sohrab919 said:yes siavash joon if i was being sponsored i would book my hotel in antaliya, take a swim, have a beer then fly to izmir do a little tanning, then kayseri for shopping, then goreme for culture then my visa, ( i lived in turkey for 1 year) but when someone , ESPECIALLY an iranian husband, is sending their wife, they want something convenient , close, safe...... forget sight seeing baba
