Hi everyone,

I really need your help and advice with this. I graduated from McGill university in August 2013 and I'm now working in hospital as a nurse in Quebec since. I'm not intended to stay in Quebec permanently. So I'm planning to have a year of working experience in Quebec, apply for PR under CEC and move to somewhere else. My questions are:

1: Is my working experience in Quebec valid to apply for PR under CEC?
2: Is my grand scheme of migration feasible? I'm on the right track?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!! I just wanna to make sure I'm doing the right thing and I'm not wasting my time

Experience is fine. But, you should be able to convince the officer that you intend to live outside of quebec.

See posts by user kushari.

1. Landlord letter (stating how long you have lived there and if you are in good standing).
2. Little things like (phone bills, electricity bills, cable bills).
3. Proof of family/friends living in toronto/ Ontario.
4. Pay stubs
5. Tax information (if you filed your taxes in Ontario)

Hi eds1275,

Thank you for your reply. So I'm safe to apply for CEC if I move to other province after a year, with the additional proves from landlord and bills? But I don't have tax information from ontario, only the ones from Quebec. Will that causes problem in the future if I use the t4 slips from Quebec to apply while living in Ontario?

Thanks a million time.

T4 from Ontario is not a must. I just provided a list of docs that can prove the intent. Also, the list may not be comprehensive - you can submit other documents that you feel would support the intent of living outside quebec. All the best.
