Current status "application reviewed and started process"

Can any one interpret it. what do they want to inform. My case was transferred to london office.

Means your application has been reviewed and you have sufficient points to be consider for canadian immigration. And now its in process means they are doing all the checkings like, background, security, employment. If they need any further documents they contact you and if not hopefully you will receive a medical request.

It will take anything between 3 - 6 months.

My status changed on 16-June-2010, it means , it may take upto december.

Dear Satish,

My current status shows "application reviwed and process started". This status has been changed on June 16, 2010. I had filed my application in July 2009 and received letter for updationg documents in Aug 2009 and then my application status changed and showed documents receieved and transferred to london office in Sep 2009.

Ambwani its does not mean it will definetly take upto december but yes it can take, it depends on the background checks if you dont have any long travelling history and all your experience letters and other stuff is geniune it can be done well before December. Dont be sad atleast your status is changed and you will get a good news soon.

Thanks for the info. It took more than 6 months for change of your status to "in process"!! Anyways they have started processing your file. Now you will get Medical request in 1-2 months time and not 6 months. So by the end of July or August you will get Medical call.

There is a thread in this Forum names "Received by Visa Office London since 2009" you can also join there and compare the time lines of others. More than 75% of the applicants to London in the thread got Medicals in 1-2 months time...

I suppose not, because nowhere in the forms asked for previous travel details. Please clarify.

No it does not say in the forms but CHC check the travelling history by using passport number.
