Does MICC charge your credit card as soon as they begin processing your file?
So is that an indicator that they started processing ur file?

i sent my file on 25 - mar.
They got it 26-mar as per parcel tracking.

just keeping my fingers crossed.

We sent our stuff to MICC on Feb 1. Our cc was charged on Feb 12. The CSQ was issued (letter dated) Feb 22, and we received it Feb 27. So that was our timeline, including when the card was charged. It was about halfway between receipt and issuance.

I sent application for sponsorship to MICC on March 12. They received it next day, as I'm located in Montreal.
As of March 29, my CC hasnt been charged yet. I started to get nervous.

Did you call them?
I guess there commitment is to give a reply in 20 business days. You have all the rights to question them if it has passed that date.

did you send your docs with tracking updates?

They just charged my credit card today.
Charging credit card means file is complete ? (Like signatures and they have all they need to process?)
 
Just received CSQ yesterday!

Here's the timeline for CSQ only.

March 13 - Application received by MICC
April 4 - CC charged with fee
April 23 - CSQ issued
April 25 - CSQ received

That is really not what i expected from Quebec.

Website says 20 business days.. this is not what they should do..

I want to ask about CC charge. If your CC was charged by quebec immi for CSQ application, does that mean you file is complete and it's just a matter of time??

I applied for points sys. and my AOT gives me 12 points according to new rules in August 1st 2013

to answer your question , CSQ charges credit card for processing - good or bad , CSQ will charge the processing fees.
Hope for the good.

Yes, send in the payment by CC form with your application. (For most applications, when your CC has been charged you know your CSQ is two weeks away from being decided.)

Here was my timeline:

CIC Request to apply for CSQ from MICC Rec'd: 9/20/13
CSQ Request sent: 9/21/13
CC charged: 9/26/13
Approval: 10/9/13
Rec'd: 10/15/13

Except in our case. We waited, and waited, and waited. The credit card was charged but nothing happened. Then I received a letter from the VO giving 5 days in which to send them a copy of the CSQ or the PR application will be denied. We phoned MICC. They had decided they needed a passport copy BUT they never contacted us to ask for it. They simply put the application aside and forgot about it. They have apologised and said they will process it in time but I won't relax now until we have got it.

So, for anyone else - if your CSQ application isn't processed within a month or soon after 20 business days, I suggest you call MICC. We just kept waiting which was, it turned out, a big mistake.

thanks, so i just fill the payment by CC form and they are the ones to charge me with my credit card information.

i thought there is some type of online payment.
