If anyone approved in November gets their CSQ in the mail post-strike, please share here! Still haven't gotten ours that was approved a week before the strike and got caught in the mail.

I didn't see anyone mention it, but you can check the last application that has been reviewed on the Quebec website.
I received mine two or three weeks after it passed the last received time mentioned on the website.
My request was received on September 13, and today I received the CSQ.

We are currently reviewing the undertaking applications to sponsor a spouse or a conjugal partner received on October 15, 2024.

hi everyone, I've received my CSQ last week
I'm trying to figure out what this AOR is and how I can apply for an OWP with the CSQ I have.
Every website that I looked at regarding CSQ are tied to Skilled Workers

https://www.quebec.ca/en/immigration/permanent/skilled-workers/open-work-permit

Here's my timeline.

August 2024 - Submitted inland sponsorship application

September 2024 - Mailed the the documents to MIFI .

October 2024 - received biometric instructions letter in,

Early November 2024 - submitted my biometrics at Service Canada.

December 2024 - Accompagnement Québec video call.

Jan 2025 - Received CSQ by Mail. The letters are dated in December 2024 (I assume this delayed due to the Canada Post strike?)

You don’t need the CSQ to apply for the OWP. You need the AOR sent by IRCC, which based on your timeline, you should have received in September (most likely in the Sponsor’s email), before the invitation to apply with MIFI. i assume you want to apply for your OWP via the Spousal sponsorship program, if so, look in the previous posts of this forum, SkyEarth posted a detailed explanation and linked a YouTube video that is extremely helpful.

Thanks qcacz, I've noticed your signature
Do you have an example of how the AOR should look like? My sponsor/common law has checked her mails and we can't find any mail or attachment from IRCC that says that in
Just to add some context, I'm already a worker on a closed work permit/LMIA since 2021.

As you suggested, I've watched the youtube video and tried replicating the steps and somehow I arrived at this questionnaire and got this result

"Open Work Permit
You may be eligible to work in Canada with an open work permit."

After filling everything I'm getting

"Our Online Services Are Currently Down
System-generated error code:KFXZ8R89 (2025-01-16 03:38:17)"

Sorry

This on-line service is currently not available.

Possible reasons::

We are currently updating this Web site.
We are experiencing technical difficulties.
Please try again later."

I'll try again tomorrow morning.

I've also noticed jenne0710 received her AOR from MIFI, is that the "acceptantation" and "envoi" letters that came with the CSQ mail?

It was sent as a PDF in the sponsor’s email. It should be addressed to the sponsor and start with ‘This letter confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2024-07-xx…’.. It doesn’t specifically say ‘Acknowledgment of receipt’.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I've confirmed that's the same PDF that my sponsor received.
Looking at your signature, I think we're pretty much in the same timeframe, except that I didn't apply for an OWP.
I was also extending my current company's Work Permit online (flagpoling wasn't an option anymore) in August.

I have some questions if you don't mind me asking

Back to the questionnaire, under "How long are you planning to stay in Canada?"
I suspect if I set it to "Temporarily - more than 6 months", instead of "Permanently"

It'll allow me to apply for an Open Work Permit, or else it'll suggest Express Entry.

I followed the instructions and created a new application with the newly generated personal reference code.
As a result, these are the forms that I need to submit:

Application Form(s)
Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker (IMM5710)

Supporting documents
Certificat de Selection du Québec (CSQ)
Family Information Form (IMM5707) <--- unable to add signature digitally
Passport
Digital photo

Did you submit the same documents for your OWP application?
