CSQ holder- Waiting for Canadian PPR from USA- Let's network

Timelines are unpredictable, E-case is usualy not updated on time. So let's network to better manage this stress.
I had my medical done in august 22nd. My e-Cas still showing application received. And no update since then.

That does not make me feel better.
let's see with the end of strikes,
They may send you your PPR soon in order for you to land before january 2014 otherwise you will have to redo your medicals

Strike has nothing to do with you case,
Your visa office probably is Ottawa so there no strike applied to that office.
anyway any case is individual, but usually it takes a year plus minus a couple months after csq.

In may case deadline is December 2013
but it will delay they will ask you to re-do medical , it is not a issue for them

I got my CSQ after an interview in NY, But I sent everything to Sydney. The last time I sent an email to Ottawa they said my file is still in Sydney. Does it mean my visa office is sydney? i thought it was just a a transit for all the PR Application. I recognize I am very confused here.
Any help will be welcome.

i got my CSQ also in NYC
Your file will be transferred from Sydney to Ottawa and your visa office is :OTTAWA.
Looks like you case is still far away from finalizing. Count at least one year from now , hopefully and i wish you so much faster.
Once you file will be transferred to Ottawa , request a copy of your immigration file where you may see a deadline of your case - that is my suggestion.

Are you in Canada and waiting inside? or in USA. because it is a big different for visa office where you are and what address you provided for them.

I am still in USA, I am a green card holder,
I am assuming that outland will last more than the inland,
Am I wrong?

Depend on Visa Office.
Again as i said before, get order a copy of your immigration file and check a deadline for your case. If you received your PR early then that - awesome, good for you !

I am also in US. Received my CSQ in Feb 2013 from CA. Meds done in Mid June. Nothing yet. Visa office in Ottawa. I spoke to my law firm she advised me it usually takes 2-4 months before next communication. She also mentioned that Ottawa is very slow this days.

guys you have to count one year +- couple months from date Ottawa office received your file. In CIC website when you click "process time" you may see that Ottawa office process time is 20!!!! months. But most cases if everything is OK, i mean no criminality or security issues in files, it anyway will run in Ottawa office for a year at least.

My suggestion, relax and stop counting time. As i said one year. After CSQ is just a paper's process.
