CSQ after sponsorship approval for outland processing--some questions!

I sent mine in just a few days after you but my cc was also charged on the same day as you so looks like we were in the same batch. I dont think there's anything to worry about but I called them and they gave me the approval over the phone and said I would receive the mail next week. If it'll make you feel better, give them a call and ask them if there was any problems, and who knows you might get good news!! But otherwise I would assume you would get something next week!

Well, I called the MICC to see what they could tell me and I got a rly nice lady who told me.....

IT HAS BEEN APPROVED AND SENT TO ME TODAY!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO

I should get it next week! perfect timing for my surprise visit next weekend!!

I feel sooo much better knowing that and Im so glad I called! At first they didn't think it was passed by 20 days and they weren't going to tell me anything but then she looked me up and saw that it has so she gave me the approval on the phone!

I'm not mad at the mailman anymore!! ;D ;D ;D

Congrats, congrats, congrats!!! A small step towards a reunion with your husband!!! I am hoping to get mine maybe next week. As I am one week behind you in my undertaking with the Quebec government. I will not be in Canada next week, visiting my wife in Europe . It will probably wait for me when I come back.

Well to anyone who wad wondering, I spoke to MICC last Thursday and they told me my approval and CSQ was in the mail... and they weren't lying! Got them both today in the mail! Another small victory!! have you guys heard anything?

It has been 25 working days so far and I did not receive any news. I will wait to see if I receive it today, and I guess I will call tomorrow if I still have nothing.

I decided to do a call to immigration québec this morning to see if there was some delay with my application. After giving out my birth date, my name and my address, they told me that everything was fine and that I had been approved last tuesday. They said that I should receive mail today or early next week. When I arrived home from work, I received my CSQ!

Here is a little timeline of the process for me :

2012-09-04 : They receive my application
2012-09-11 : My credit card is charged
2012-10-09 : Approval of my application
2012-10-12 : I receive the answer by mail

I received the answer by mail 27 working days after they received my application.
I received the answer by mail 22 working days after my credit card was charged.

Hi everyone,

Came back from Latvia yesterday after staying with my wife for a week. Very jet lagged so decided to catch up on the forum during the night before going to work in the morning.

I am sad from saying goodbye to my wife yesterday, this is always very sad. And I am also mad as I have not received the CSQ for her yet. I though it will wait for me when I come back. It has been 21 days since I applied. There will be a not too nice of a call this morning to Immigration Quebec

Congrats Intlove! It took me 24 business days to receive it too (got it the day after Thanksgiving which obvs doesnt count as a business day)! feels so good to get something on ur file! ;D

Hi Lioha- On working day 22 I got verbal approval, so don't get too mad until you get that confirmation! lol They told me they sent it that day, and sure enough two days later it was in the mail!! I went to see my husband over the weekend and gave him 5 copies (more than needed), does feel good to see our loved ones doesnt it?? I bet you get it before the end of the week!!

Yes, it does feel good to see our loved ones. It feels so sad to say goodbye though. Due to the distance, I can not unfortunately go too often. But I was crazy enough to do a long weekend trip there for Labour day. And even if I was super tired, I was extremely happy too. I just called the Ministry, and they told me that the case was accepted last Wednesday and the CSQ was sent to me I am a bit scared now that it still did not make it since Wednesday. Should be in today I suppose.

Just to let everybody know, I got the CSQ for my wife today. It took 22 working days to receive it. I called earlier today and the women on the phone told me that it I was approved on October 10th which means 19 working days since application received. I wanted to share my timeline with everyone.

Hello everyone!

it's nice to have found this thread as we share common sentiments My sponsor got approved last August 13, 2012 and we sent our Quebec papers last Oct 12, 2012 we just found out that we have not put a check in the box under sexe if male or female under form A-0546-GF we overlooked it! my worry is that they might return the papers to my husband again Is there any way that we could correct this? before they send back the application? by the way my husband is currently from canada and Im from Philippines, the application is outland. Im just waiting for my PPR/Visa but due to the Quebec application it got delayed since we need to have the CSQ first before I could received my PPR any advice/comments? Welcome to the CSQ thread! Has your husband tried contacting them to let them know of the mistake? They may be able to make a note of it and therefore not send it back?

Has your app in Manila really already been finished but the only thing holding you back is the CSQ? Wow that was fast!!

We recently sent out the csq and undertaking application on Oct 17. We went to the post office near by to send it off but since we are here in Montreal we figured it would be fine to send it off by regular mail...now we realise we have no way of tracking if they even received it fine. :S Oi, just crossing our fingers.

Is there anyone from Montreal who has also sent it by regular mail?
