Hi there,

I received an invite to apply for PR on June 11 when the score dropped to 437. I have worked for the same employer since April 2018, but a combination of full time and part time experience. I listed this on my entry to the pool, but it gave me a score of 466 anyway, as if I had two years of experience. I actually only have 2,500 hours of work there so just one year of experience.

I still qualify for CEC, but my score is actually 441 not 466. Do I need to decline the invitation or can I proceed with a LOE in this case?

A LOE should be OK, you should be prepared to give a thorough accounting of your hours worked (hopefully you did not count more than 30 hours per week when adding up hours).

Thanks for this. Yes, the 2,500 is only including up to 30 hours per week, I just spent hours going over every payslip I've ever received and put together a spreadsheet of hours worked vs hours that I can actually put towards my work experience and as of today I have 2518. I'm just worried it would count as misrepresentation if I was in the pool with 466 but it actually should have been 441.

If you have been invited you can still change some of the information. Just mention part time start and end date then change the hours worked during that period Ex:- 20 hours a week. Then again for full time do the same. It will adjust your points before you apply. I had some issue with that got invited on June 11 had 450 when initially then 447. No big deal as long as you have more points than you were invited for you are good to go.
