I am about to apply through express entry program. I have a doubt related to CRS calculator.

I have completed standard Indian education i.e. 10+2+3
and while entering the same in calculator, I am confused between two options:

three-year or more post-secondary credential
two or more post-secondary credentials with at least one being 3+ years

If i choose the latter i sit little comfortably at 462, however the former takes me down to 432.

Please let me know which option is suitable for my education.

As Istari mentioned, it is "three-year or more post-secondary credential". Have you done ECA for your Bachelors?

No I am yet to do so. What should I expect from it?
The first step is to check the eligibility. Use this link to check your eligibility http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp.

You need to get ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) and IELTS done to create and submit your Express Entry profile. To apply for PR, CIC has designated some institutions to asses your education credentials and to report the Canadian equivalence of the same.

IELTS has a major role in boosting your CRS score. Use this calculator to see the impact that higher IELTS can have on your CRS score http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp.

Check this list of Express Entry FAQs, it will answer most of your questions http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/questions-answers-by-topic.asp?top=29

Hi guys,

kindly shed some light on the below.

1- Eligibility for FSWP for EE in education section: it says "University degree at the Master’s level or equal OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree (or equal).

Occupation related to the degree must be: NOC 2016 skill Level A, and

licensed by a provincial regulatory body

Please note I have MBA in aviation management (this is not related to my occupation under NOC) and BBA is finance and risk.. Do u think they will not consider my masters? And only consider BBA due to the specialization.

Ps: I still haven't received my ECA.Bachelor's from Belgium. Masters from UK.

2 - Regarding the job experience : I will be applying under an NOC which I currently don’t work in, but classifies as the longest (2 years). The experience was 2012 - 2014. Do u think this will be questioned? Since its 4 years old ? Will I be asked about current job experience?

Thank you in advance.
