If there's a way for you to bump your score up to 480 or better, that will give you a great chance to be invited soon.
Regardless, 474 is a good score....it's very likely you will be invited eventually, just hang on tight :)

Hi All,

I need some help - wondering if anyone has experienced this. My wife is the primary applicant and I am applying as a spouse. In the CRS calculator as a spouse I get 9 points for education because I have an equivalent of 2 graduation degrees (on 4 years or more). However, in the actual express entry profile I get only 8 points. It's a difference of 1 point, but 1 point could make all the difference (470 vs. 471)!

I wrote to the CIC technical team to report a problem, but I got an answer which was completely unrelated and didn't really solve the issue. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Did you create your profile post 19th Nov? earlier there was an option "two or more degrees.." but now if you add graduation degrees(two separate rows) you will get 9 pts by updating Level of education under education history

Created it in Dec, and yes added the 2 rows in the actual profile - but I still get 8 points! However, the calculator still has the two or more degrees option.

Any idea the best way to get technical support? Because I think it is a technical error of some sort, have checked it so many times, there doesnt SEEM to be anything wrong with the way I have entered it!

Hi everyone. I qualify under CEC. My first job I did between aug 2014 and July 2016 for 15 hours a week. And also I worked between Jan 2016 and now( current job) for 30 hours a week. Both jobs are different NOC and I have 1560 individually in both jobs. But I get the points for just 1 year experience. Any explanation experts?
Thanks in advance.
