maybe coz of spouse , adding her education and work experience also...Lyon37 said:481 here....applied since mid-September.
I've nearly completed all of my documentation - just worried that it'll get old and need to be renewed by the time I get an ITA...
Also, without living/working in Canada, how is it possible to go above 481?
French is definitely a means of adding another 6 points.thestunner316 said:maybe coz of spouse , adding her education and work experience also...
else could be getting points for french... people tend to forget that also
Wrong. Being married can increase your points. If you are under 30, have done a Masters, have CLB 10 on all sections of IELTS and have more than 3 years of foreign experience, you'll get 481 points. But if you have a spouse that has also done a Masters and has a CLB 10 on all sections of IELTS, you can get your score upto 484 points.Lyon37 said:French is definitely a means of adding another 6 points.
Though I've noticed that spouse/partner points actually cancel out the extra points that you can get when single. So, being married doesn't increase your points - they still max out at 481.
