I am at 478. I have no problem if it takes couple of months to come down as I have just applied for FBI PCC and it will take couple of months to get it :)

What is FBI PCC. I am also at 478 and waiting for the scores to come down.

^ That's a crazy high score...you will get invited in no time!

Really Hope so. The thing being its just an assumption as of now.
I am yet to start my course in Canada, then PGWP , post to that I will be able to score such points. :P
Still a long way to go!!!

How difficult it is to get a job once you have a PR but no Canadian job experience. I heard in one of the videos that Canadian employers prefer candidates with Canadian experience, hence wanted to know others experience.

It is difficult tobget a job in the same profession initially but with time it will you will get a decent job in your desired field. They prefer canadian experience but inassume they have scarcity of resources hence an active immigration programm. I really hope that we all get desired job there. Best of luck

It might be difficult for other jobs, but for IT/Dev field, once you know how to properly code, know how to setup/troubleshoot/maintain a network and system infrastructure. You are hireable at any places in the world.
It's not a coincidence that a lot of IT foreign workers are from India.

As we all are very near to ITA ( depending upon to future draws) let us discuss the documents required after ITA and also medical eaxmination and PCC. I guess reference letter is a technical document. Pls share ur views so that we all are well prepared on the day we get our ITA. Best of luck
I'm comparatively new to this forum.
Have just started the process - ECA on its way may be in a week or so.
IELTS done - 8-9 months of validity left
CRS Tool - 475 (hoping it's correct)
Will create EE profile as soon as I receive ECA report.

I like the idea of being ready with all the required docs. So I was preparing a list. Please help me with Estimated Time in terms of processing time from India's perspective.
1. PCC - Not sure about the process and time it takes!
2. Medical Exam - shall I go ahead with it beforehand? ETA?
3. Proof of Funds - Do I need to have the asked amount in my account for six months? If yes, I need to do some shuffling!
4. Proof of Employment - Have handy.

Anything else that I missed? ETAs against the items above will be really helpful from experienced Indian fellows like you.
Thank you.

1. PCC - Not sure about the process and time it takes! - Takes only a day, register on PSK go there and you will have PCC with you without concerns, unless you have been moving cities which will delay some time.
2. Medical Exam - shall I go ahead with it beforehand? ETA? - Try to do this the last thing in your application since you get time of 1 year from the date of medicals for landing
3. Proof of Funds - Do I need to have the asked amount in my account for six months? If yes, I need to do some shuffling!
Not for 6 months just have it ready if you do get ITA to get bank certificate.

Hope i helped.
