@johnjkjk, oh yes I totally agree with regard to the importance of having a solid grasp of the English language. If someone genuinely wants to integrate with the community he/she is migrating to, then learning English (and even French) is essential.

@Sluffy, I wish all of us could have your problem hehe...At CRS 482....I dunno...congrats? hehe

481 and it's still not enough)) so we are in the same boat.
Please don't tell me ' you'll get your ITA soon', I hope to, but everything is so unpredictable.
the situation means there are many people with 480 at least, because there're 750 people coming every two weeks with 482+

When did you get PT from Ontario? I received that in December 2015. Got AOR recently.

By the 2015 trend I am hoping it will go down to 450 in between July-August. Good luck Guys!

Hi! Im still yet to finish my EE profile this friday. I dont know how many points im gonna get but im positive that its above 460. Im reading posts and is 460 a bad score right now? Do we still have hope?

I had some questions.
- Do you receive ITA after the draw is out or before the draw is out, and off-course provided your score is above the draw score
- Are there cases where ITA was not received even if the candidates score was above the draw score. The doubt is - if ITA is also dependent on demand of NOCs or current open positions of NOCs

I am at 478 and hoping to receive ITA at least in August if not in July.

-At the time they release in the ministerial instructions, however often people received their ITAs a few hours/days after the draw
-No, unless your EE profile isn't 'active' for any reason
-ITA, and EE has absolutely nothing to do with NOC

I'm sitting at 478 too, best of luck mate!

lol for the people who have 481 points... i cant even imagine how frustrating it must be... like they say in hindi "haath ko aaya par muh na lagaya" :P

I'm sure scores will drop in the last 3-4 months of the year... immg people are very busy processing paper applications made pre-EE days , before 2015...

With maximum scores for age, English language ability and foreign experience and with a masters degree, the highest score possible is 481.

It would appear that the only way to have more than 481 points would be if one has Canadian work experience (up to 80), a PhD (Masters +15) or points for French (up to 24). Those with any of these attributes but with only a few points above 481 are likely to have fewer points for age or language ability, bringing down their overall score.

Further, the longer the draws remain in the 480s and above, a significant backlog of those between 460 and 480 will build up, at the rate of several thousand a month. This means that even if the ITAs increase after the old-system backlog has been cleared, as has been suggested, there would be so many candidates in the low 480s and high 470s that it would take perhaps up to 6 months to clear the new backlog.

I am on 464. Don't loose hope so early. Time will change soon.

Hi Nikhil, hope you are doing well.
I am assuming you are already on a study visa/ pg work permit in Canada.

I was hoping to get guidance on a scenario.
I've enrolled myself in a pg certificate course which is of 2 years in length.Hoping to work after that in Canada itself on PGWP.
Just not sure about the future prospects post the course completion. Will i be able to get PR via PNP or express entry or not? is a big question on my mind.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
Regards.
Thanks.
