This thread and the Ray of Hope 54th thread make me feel very hopeful. So many people believe that the whole 440s bracket will be cleared by the end of February... I'm too excited to the point that I get nervous. Argh i hate being in this passive waiting stage. Is there anything that WE can do to make sure that the score dropping trend will not reverse? :s I am feeling very nervous :(

I haven't come across a single argument till date which can explain logically why this score dropping trend could be reversed. So, be rest assured it will not and the scores will come down further with each draw, at least for the next few draws.

It could be that there is suddenly an influx of PNP nominations... or influx of refugees since Trudeau just said he would take ALL refugees turned down by the US... or #ITAs go back to the 1000+ level... or some specific-stream-only draws.. OMG now i'm playing all scenarios in my head. Never been more hopeful before.

The only way that the CRS could go back up again is if they decide to reduce the number of ITAs to less than 1000, which seems highly unlikely given the immigration targets and recent draw trends. As for the refugee intake is concerned, these decisions cannot be taken overnight. There is a process to increase the number of refugee intake targets that Canada has set already and that process could take months.

Hello Guys,

I have started my application with 447 CRS and now it got reduced to 442 because of my increase in age.

Looking forward for the draw and I am hopeful of receiving an ITA before February end.

All the best.

Actually you cannot know if less than 1000. Maybe less than 2000 will bring the cutoff decrease to a halt. But we stay hopeful.

Of course, we would never know for sure if there are going to be 500 or 1000 or 2000 new entrants in the pool within a given time frame; or if there would be as many PNP nominations handed out between two draws. What i've said above isn't pure speculation but based on past trends and that is the best we can do. Let us keep the hopes alive!

Guys stay positive, pionts will be coming down. Lets hope we all get ITA's in the first quarter.

I have a query if anyone can asser, will be great. Thanks

I just made my EE profile and it does not show any additional points. However, when i count my score with crs calculator, it calculates additional 30 points for me.
If anyone could let me know what i am doing wrong or am i not supposed to get those 30 points.

Retake your English test
Get more years of work experience
Go back for more education

These are the three basic ways to improve your score. Good luck

I am waiting at 450..have a lot of hopes on next draw

I am in the same boat. Can't wait for Feb 8th. 8)

Another thing to check while you wait-----passport expiry date. Makes sure it is valid for at least another year or more. If not, get it renewed. I read that someone on another thread got into a major problem because they submitted their PP for stamping with less than 6 months validity.
