@legalfalcon I would like to run this by you, I do have an extensive travel history in the past 10 year close 40 countries and there has been multiple trips to each country... do you know if this might delay the criminality process ? I am AoR 29.06 and still waiting on criminality

Your travel history has no bearing on your Criminality check for as long as:
  • you didn't live in any of the countries you visited for more than 6 months and
  • you didn't commit a crime in any of the countries you visited

@EscoBlades thank you for the reply, i was also wondering if the no of trips closed to 168 based on my passports and stamps will delay the process ? even though i did not in any of those country except usa where i worked more than 6 months

Probably not. It really depends on how quickly border agencies in the countries you visited get back to IRCC with the information they may have requested.

No, extensive travel has no relation to criminality, which is based on PCCs and how long you lived in each country. If your stay for for over 6 months, IRCC can ask you for a PCC from that country. IRCC can even ask you for a PCC even if your stay was not over 6 months at its discretion.

With an extensive travel history, you may be subject to enhanced security, which will be based on your individual case and circumstances.

How do you know any agencies from other countries are contacted? I am pretty sure it happens rarely.

Having such an extensive travel history, I would strongly recommend preparing a spreadsheet detailing every single trip where you group stamps per trip and clearly layout the duration of each trip, and also indicate the page in your passport where each stamp is.

I had about 90 stamps in my passport when I applied and I did this. It is impossible to answer the question if it will significantly add time to how long your application will take to be processed. But with 168 trips I am sure it will take a significant amount of time to go over the stamps and order them chronologically and determine where you've been.

If you do this work ahead of time and present it to the officer in an easy way to read, it will surely not harm your application.

GCMS notes. Info sharing happens in general anyway. If you have an extensive travel history, and specifically lots of trips to specific countries, your biometric data is shared with the border agencies of those countries (where Canada has agreements with) just as a formality/ check. If no adverse info comes back, that check is usually a quick one.

This will not delay the criminality as long as your have listed all your travel history and provided PCCs where required.
