Hi,

For the question : Has ABC ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?

I do not know what to answer.

My work permit expired on July 3 and I applied for restoration of status as a visitor on July 25, well within the 90 day period.. So do I fall under a criminal offence? Please advise.

So its a No then? I havent committed a criminal offence?

Nope. You applied within 90 days of grace period.

Don't ask this again :) It might annoy many people on this forum.

As you mentioned above, you were not convicted in Canada of a crime.

Not too worried.

The definition of "offence":

One proposed definition is that a crime or offence (or criminal offence) is an act harmful not only to some individual or individuals but also to a community, society or the state ("a public wrong"). Such acts are forbidden and punishable by law.

foodie69, so where do you stand on this?

Meya, its also not about have you been convicted. Its also have you "committed" a criminal offence...

HELP :(
