i just received Manitoba provincial nomination letter
i want to ask a question
during the last five years i was living in Saudi Arabia and i left it in 10/12/2011
before i leave i took from the ministry of interior police certificate and certified it from the Canadian embassy in Riyadh and i did not enter Saudi Arabia again will this certification be valid to the CIC
now i am working in Oman with is one from the Gulf cooperation council when i ask the Omani authority they told me that the validity of my criminal clearance in Oman means validity in all Gulf council countries as they are connected with each other like European Union
i will support my file with my old Saudi clearance and new Omani clearance
and written Explanation will it be enough
please if some one knows the answer

No. There is no chance the Saudi one will be accepted. It is much, much too old.
If the new one is of the correct format for CIC and is less than 3 months old when they receive it, it will probably be ok.

but the Omani law say that if i commit a crime in any gulf country it will be impossible to have a residence in Oman which means that i did not commit any crime in Saudi Arabia

You need one from EACH country. It's not like the UAE where one certificate covers all of the emirates.

Omani police said to me that if you lived through the past 10 years in more than one gulf countries and obtained criminal clearance from the last one where you lived that means all the other countries because if i commit any crime in one gulf country i would be put in black list and banned from enter all other countries

I'm sorry, but CIC are not interested in Omani procedures. This is what they have asked for, and so this is what you have to provide if you wish to apply.

Bro why are you being so stubborn about your criminal clearance....I am from UAE now in Canada....Saudi and Oman are two different countries...it does not matter to Canada what GCC rules are and whether one GCC country accepts clearance from other...Canada does not.
The link clearly states you need clearance from each country you have stayed more than 6 months...Your Oman law which states that you will be banned if you had criminal record in other GCC country...is Omani Law...Canada does not follow another country's law for their own residence policy.
If you were able to get the Oman clearance you should not have a problem following the procedure for Saudi and getting one before your application. If you are in a hurry...you can send your application with oman clearance and send the saudi one once you get it from them...its simple...
Its useless e-mailing cic...coz they will take long to reply...better to call them or just get a new one...
In my opinion calling them wont help...coz call center agents dont know much beyond there training.
