Dear All,
I just came across a site a few days back, but forgot the Link that from 1st July 2011 all those planning to apply will also have to send across their Credentials Evaluation Report.
Many silent forum watchers who have gathered all their documents and waiting to apply at the first GO should be alert about this new requirement since to get your Credentials Evaluation it takes around 8 weeks or more.
Some may agree, some may not but anyway the final decision is entirely at your own discretion whether to do it or wait for a announcement.

CIC is also considering requiring applicants to prove their credentials are recognized by the appropriate Canadian authorities if their profession is regulated in Canada. For example, engineering is a regulated profession in Canada. Under the proposed change, any applicant who has work experience as an engineer would be required to have their credentials recognized by a Canadian professional licensing body before they submit their application for Canadian permanent residency.
