Hi everyone,

I just got SA recently and the email told me my package would be forwarded to CPC Ottawa. I did not include my FBI report originally and have been waiting til it was sent to Ottawa to send it along on advice from the forums about how/when to best forward that document.

My question is: does CPC Ottawa send another AOR? Like, AOR 2? Will anything change with my UCI or any other file number? Should I send it now/ASAP or wait until I get AOR2 from Ottawa?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I would urge you to send the document before they request it. Things seem to be sped up for Jan-present applicants but a document request always has the potential to slow your application down because it'll go back into queue to wait for the document and then it has to wait for review from a supervisor.
I am a September applicant, got SA in November and then per my GCMS notes, they didn't look at my file in Ottawa until March. I think I could have gotten DM late March/early April had it not been for my CSQ request.

Hi everyone, i received my COPR yesterday in the mail. Very happy
I'm going to land on the 17th of August!

That's exactly what mine said from when we got SA in Feb till it said DM on Aug 4. We didn't even see "in process".
It never changed.

I've said this before, but it's like standing in line at the supermarket. Nothing happens till you get to the front of the line. Then they get to you and whoosh!

Best of luck!!

Mine shows "In Process" for Sponsorship Approval, and "In Process" for Permanent Residence. When I click on "In Process," is says
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

There is no mention of a processing date.

Hehe, thank you!! ^_^
I have this on my Evernote.
I use to write stuff like this on paper but I end up having too many random pages lying around. I'm trying to stop paper hoarding.. hahah

Just checked and mine changed to In Process! I know it could still be a while but for me/us it feels like a small victory :)

That's great! In Process means they're actually looking at the application. Hopefully DM soon :)

For those "in process" do you have a line item that states "we started processing your application on XXX date? " I do not see that on my ECAS.

No. I just have we received your application and we've received your medical results.

Others have asked this and it's apparently normal on the applicant side, based on other answers - that line shows up on the sponsorship side, but not the other.

Thank you lleahdoll. I think this sounds like good advice and we'll send it ASAP with a cover letter with all of our info.

Another question for you: when you sent in a document did they in any way confirm that they received it? Like in eCas it says they received medical results--will they add a line that says they received FBI check?

Wait let me get this straight: so that third line on the applicant's application specifying the date is visible when the sponsor checks ecas but not when the applicant checks ecas? Seems like it would be opposite.

Also, I am the sponsor and so far have only been able to check ecas through my info but my wife hasn't been able to check ecas with her info. What's up with that?

We're outland US and we've had sponsorship approval and received the email about it and now our ecas says in process for her application but with no third line about the date.
