Ahhhh!!! So I just checked my partner's ecas. We had ppr and documents requested on Aug 26th. We sent in the 1 requested form and his passport ASAP - according to Canada Post, they were received on Sept 2nd.

I've been checking ecas a lot - still says application received. HOWEVER... I just checked ecas, and although it still says "application received", I just noticed they updated his mailing address!!

Ahhh, so at least I know SOMETHING is happening with our app! Weeeeee!

Hey all,

Can anyone confirm for me the correct layout for the postal address of the Ottawa office?

This is how it is laid out on the email they sent me,

Case Processing Centre- Ottawa (CPC-O)
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West Ottawa ON K1A 1L1

7th Floor, Section B

Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 Canada
Facsimile 613-946-6059

Just confused, surely the "7th floor, section B" part should be first?
Also, what name should I adress it to?like is there a receiver title I should use?
Thanks all!

it dosn't matter where it's listed, it will still get delivered. the post office doesn't need to know it's the "7th floor, section b". my guess is if it's written like that, it's so it's easier for the mail room to deliver it. the name you address it to is as it's written above: "Case Processing Centre- Ottawa (CPC-O)". sometimes visa officers will put their name on the request letter, most do not. so if there wasn't a name, that's what you write.

Member of Parliament assured us our time was extended to get documents requested into CPP-O, as of yesterday but today I received an email from a Case Officer telling me it still had to be brought in on the 15th of October. Do they not communicate whatsoever!?

I was told by the MP that Immigration Canada has reached the maximum quota of 2014 for spouse visa. Which mean they will not be issuing any more visas for this year. I am pregnant and expecting my husband to be here in Dec. Mine is appeal case, I appealed and won and now the case is being processed in Ottawa. Recently they asked to complete few forms and police certificate. Then couple of days later we received emailed from Delhi for reassessment of medical because medical is expiring next month. If they did not wanted to issue the visa why did they ask to do reassessment, they could have waited for medical to expire and ask for re-medical.

I have not seen any official news regarding this. If some knows about or someone receives PPR please post here. I am so lost please advice ...

The only quota I am aware of is for parent sponsorship. I didn't think a quota for spouses existed.
