Expected VO: Beirut
Visa Office: Ottawa
Medicals Done: 02/28/2013
Application sent: 03/22/2013
Application received by CIC: 03/26/2013
Stage 1 AOR: 04/11/2013
Sponsorship approval: 04/11/2013

I have a question: if they conduct an interview, does that mean I have to fly to Ottawa? Or will it take place in Beirut?

Applied in June 2012 at Mississuaga

Got acknowledgement in August 2012 that sponsorship in approved and file is transferred to islamabad.

I inquired islamabad in feb 2013 about my file status and got reply in april 2013 that your file is not yet received from case processing pilot office.

i phoned cic and they told me that in august 2012 they sent my file to ottawa and in april 2013 ottawa sent it to islamabad.

Now in light of above can anyone elaborate whats going on? Why ottawa kept it for 7 months and sent it to islamabad? When should i expect my visa now?

My file is also in CPP Ottawa which the MP's case worker told me. I ordered GCSM notes in the beginning of April because there has been no action from CIC since Jan 2012. Maybe you should do the same and, it may give you some hints as to what has happened to your file.

Hi everyone,

I am happy to say that my husband landed yesterday. We did the landing at Lawsdowne port of entry (thousand island). Everything well really well. they did not even look in the vehicle to see what we were bringing with us. We gave them the B4 and B4A. We will be going back in the next month or so to bring more stuff over. Yeah We are so happy !!!!!!!

My has e-cas changed to medical results received.

More importantly, received the PPR email. They only requested my passport and 2 passport photos.

I edited DrJO to Sept 2012 instead of 2013. Unless he's good enough to apply in the future and get his PPR now.... if so, I want that ability.

I hope the SS will re-arrange him on it's own. If not, I will fix tomorrow.
