i've received letter sayingamikety said:Hi Evan! I added you. If you have time & know the dates, can you provide us with the date your application was received by CIC (it will say on Ecas) and the date you got AOR, if you did. (That's Acknowledgment of Receipt if you didn't know.) Also, I didn't imput your medical date because 9/X/2012 didn't want to format right
It's awesome to hear you're in process. I'm only three weeks behind you!
Thanks, everything is filled out!evanbigfan said:i've received letter saying
"This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/12/31 "

the medical test was made on 30 september (not sure but its one day before or after )
wish u all the best
I'm no expert, but I think you got PRR too. I will have to double check with more experienced members. In the meantime you're added.abucket9 said:Sure, I'll join! On the heels of your comments, I wrote CPP Ottawa about the medical. Today my husband got an e-mail requesting his medical, FBI results, passport bio page, and the processing fee. We sent the FBI results in with initial application, and apparently the medical never did get sent in. What a headache!
Our timeline:
- Sept 7 2012 we sent in our application
- Got an e-mail on Oct 24, 2012 saying our application was received Sept 20, 2012.
- Oct 24, 2012 I also got approved as a sponsor
- March 4, 2013 ECAS got updated to "In process"
- April 11, 2013 Husband received request for documentation

Although it is uncommon, I would not hurt, it will save you about 6 weeks in case you are asked to provide an updated FBI report.Yellowrose said:Grats, Aerogirl, on your landing!!
I'm noticing that several people have been asked for an updated FBI clearance. Mine was the reason for the date we submitted our applications, as they were received in Ottawa, 2 days, maybe, before the FBI clearance expiration. What is your experience? I'm wondering if I should drag my daughter back to fingerprinting with me to send off with another FBI clearance request. I really can't afford to add any extra time to things, as my landlord is looking at selling my condo out from under me in a few months!
I thought they were still working on Octobers - but date and queue means nothing in CIC land.....libellula said:Hello everyone!
Looking at the spreadsheet it seems that November and December sponsorship approvals should be getting ppr's etc right a bout now?
There was movement in march for the earlier months, but now it seems that April has been a bit slow.
Easter vacation? sugar meltdowns? No spring fever? (of course not with the way the weather has been)
Ugh!!!
The way April's been going, it's not clear that they are really "working" on anything!amikety said:I thought they were still working on Octobers - but date and queue means nothing in CIC land.....
