I was refering to the US. Manufacturers was required to install DRL's in the past, but not anymore, although some makes/models still have them. Both our 2013 vehicles have them, but the light stick has a setting where you can turn them off (when running in the 'auto' setting the DRL's run during daylight and turn off themselves when the headlights come on). I guess we'll have to find a way to modify that.
If you need to modify them just go to the dealer who you bought your cars from. They asked the mechanic to look into it before I bought the car and he found out within an hour. Of course, they had incentive to do it quickly for me so they could make a sale. I think if every caris equipped with everything necessary to turnt he DRL on they should do it. I mean, it's an extra feature that you can offer a buyer. Anyway, good luck getting it fixed before the move. :)

Sometimes yes. Take a look at the LA spreadsheet in my signature.

"Sometimes yes. Take a look at the LA spreadsheet in my signature." Thanks 'Parker24' for the reply. What does "PPR" means as mentioned in LA spreadsheet?

We're landing twins, crna80!

I landed at the Lacolle/Champlain border today after flagpoling in Plattsburgh. We were later told by the first Canadian customs officer that they call it un tour du poteau en français. Landing was very straightforward. I'm very thankful I had everyone's stories on here to read through so I knew what to expect. The customs officer processing my B4 even gave me a little Canada flag magnet and said 'welcome to Canada'.

Good luck everyone!!
Congrats Kelm, a good all around! No magnet or flag, but I got a welcome to Canada as well. All the best in your future endeavors.

I landed on April 1st by land. Everything went smoothly. I have spent the week dealing with the Canadian and Quebec governments. Thanks for all on the forum, I received a lot of support. Good luck waiting to those still in the process.

Quiet Monday...

I died over the weekend, so I apologize for not being around and doing my duties. I'm allergic to cats and in the "spring" (or whatever we're calling this) it gets severe.

I own a cat who is shedding.

It was awful :'(

Glad your death was only temporary!

My daughter's allergic to cats generally, but we had a Siberian and she wasn't at all allergic to him.

Nothing immigration-related happening in our neck of the woods - just waiting for COPR and enjoying spring in Philadelphia before it gets way too hot.

We plan to get a Siberian when I'm all settled in Canada!

Cool! Not only are they generally hypoallergenic, they are also the best, friendliest cats ever. Really wonderful pets.

Our two cats are shedding like crazy too. Every time they move I just see fluff flying off of them and I can feel the sneezes coming my way haha
