Congratulations! It's good to see some movement at Ottawa!

COPR issued 3/5/2013, Received 3/20/2013 landing planned for 4/9/2013!!
Also applied for a nexus card and got the approval the same day!! thanks for everyone's support in the forums!

Please update the spreadsheet!

My COPR was delivered today and is waiting for me to get off work. My question is do I have to make an appointment to land or do I just go to the border?

You only need an appointment if you want to land while already in Canada and want to just go into the immigration office instead of the border. At the border you are free to come any time.

Also, do I need to bring my passport book when landing? I usually visit using my passport card or nexus card

That I don't know but it wouldn't hurt.

Yes you do, I'm not sure if a pass card is enough but they definitely ask for a passport. They have to stamp it.

Congrats on the COPRs!

I've updated the spreadsheet and fixed some formatting issues. We're finally getting enough data to say that COPR usually arrives 3-4 weeks after PPR unless other documents are requested with the PPR, that extend the time it takes for the applicant to respond to the PPR and/or the time for Ottawa to process the additional documentation.

This means it's almost time for me to run to check the mail every day...

Wooo! My spreadsheet updating skills are lacking. I'm working now so I can't check on this place as much. But I still check my PMs a few times a day so if anyone needs updating feel free to PM me to give IvanP a break :D

I just landed! The officers were happy for me as I've been crossing back and forth for five years. Thank God it's alllllll over! Good luck everyone!

I simply do not understand why so many people are having complaints about Ottawa. My file was transferred there from LA, and even since then they've kept me very up to date. When I received my PPR in an e-mail, I replied to that e-mail with the requested documents and heard back the SAME DAY by an officer telling me that he has printed the documents.

I've found them very helpful!

Feels great to be done doesn't it?

It might have something to do with the fact that their experiences were not at all similar to yours!
