No problem! You're all set up now =) I just needed the date it was sent so that the spreadsheet would calculate the correct # of days since app received.
Thanks Shylox!!!!

Yes I will be getting added to hers but I need to get my carecard first and then she needs to play phone tag with a bunch of people to get me added to hers. She shouldn't have to pay anything because the company does over dependents. We'll see.

She should add you through the MSP group administrator - it's a change of dependents form. She can include your COPR paperwork. Then MSP in Victoria will send you the Care Card in the Mail. It takes 4-6 weeks to get your care Card and your coverage starts two months after the first of the month after you become eligible - so if you landed February 29, you become eligible May 1. If you landed March 4 you become eligible June 1.

You could probably walk to Ottawa to pick it up faster than it will take by snail mail....lol :)
:D I'm sure I could but of course... they won't let me. Still waiting...... I checked my mailbox yesterday and nothing. I just hope that it is not bad news.... as we never got PPR :-\

That would be awesome.... thank you for your support.

Just as everyone told me, they won't reject someone without requesting for an interview or anything else so I doubt it is bad news. Maybe they're testing something new and they plan on cutting out the PPR step in the future, who knows. Just be happy that you're their guinea pig on this one! haha

I will be checking the mail box tonight as soon as I get back from work......I am more than happy to be the guinea pig !!! :)

That would be nice. Especially since we're supposed to provide a copy of our PP picture page already. Mine was a high quality copy printed in full color!

Just make a notation like this:

"To avoid processing delays, please include a full sized, color copy of your passport picture page and blank page for the PR visa."

That puts it on the applicant to do, but gives them the option to provide what Ottawa needs. Of course, this also requires Ottawa not to misplace it! :D

I totally agree. That would get rid of one step in the process...... guinea pig, here I am ;D

I just realised I'm not on the spreadsheet - oops! Could someone please add me (in the hopes that I'll be turning a different colour very soon!)

I had nothing in the mail yesterday so am waiting for Fridays delivery!!!!!

Does anyone know if Ecas tracker is still working?

Hello everyone, been going through the forum for a while but this is my first post.

I have been approved to sponsor, and my american wife has just been told via email;

Thank you for your email,

I have approved your application, please send me a copy of your passport (bio-page), you may do so by attaching a scanned copy to a reply to this email.

Yours truly,

Officer | Agent SG00218

My question is has anyone been asked for a scan of their passport like this? Shouldnt they ask for the physical passport?

just wondering...

Thanks
Shawn

Requests for scans are normal - rejoice that they didn't ask for anything else! Congratulations!

Hi everyone, Well nothing in the mailbox tonight. My common-law husband is coming from the US tomorrow to visit me for the next two weeks. Now.. we don't know what to expect when he gets to the border. Will they know right away? He usually tells them that he is coming to visit his girlfriend for a couple of weeks. Will they give him the news then...... What do you guys think?

Congrats! This PPR request is quite common for Americans. Do you mind if you could share the timeline?
