They can pay the MSP premiums for her (it's a taxable benefit) but they don't have the ability to allow/disallow her dependents - that's standard MSP group admin stuff at that point.Shylox said:And computergeek I had no idea I could have had insurance this whole time My wifes insurance goes through her employer so I'm not sure they would still allow it.
Note that you should add yourself to hers anyway, since it's cheaper for a couple than it is two individuals ($66.50 for an individual, $120.50 for a family of 2, $133 for a family of 3+). Her employer may withhold it from pay - but you still have to pay it anyway.
