Took my notes 33 days I think, no big deal.. Your DM today 99% of the time means COPR is in the mail and could show up in your mailbox today even or some days from now, mine took 8 days after DM.. Congrats! 8)
I can't recall of a US application that was rejected from DM without any sort of intermediate contact from CIC for more documents. So, I'm hopeful.
I'll still update this thread once I eventually receive my GMCS notes. I think we have a sort of institutional shortfall of "case studies" on just how seemingly ordinary applications "should" process.

Has Ottawa been seeing any improvement in processing times this Summer?
Yes, but for now the improvement is mixed. Some applicants from August and especially September are still waiting for processing, but a handful of applicants from as recently as March have received "Decision Made". A few pages back in this thread, one extremely lucky April applicant reported receiving DM.
This processing appears to be similar to that of this time last year, when CPC-Ottawa "caught up" on a number of family-class applicants in the queue. Excluding one odd 48-day submission (the user reported "application received" and SA-AOR on the same day, which seems very unusual), a handful of others last year were processed in 90-95 days, with August 2014 approvals. On the other hand, other users approved around the same time waited for 180-250 days. If Ottawa proceeds
exactly as they did last year (extremely unlikely, of course), then an application submitted now would have the COPR issued in the early part of 2016.
