so found out today that both the doctor's office where my husband had his medical done and immigration both have lost his medical report....question is when he gets it redone..(doctor is not charging him a second time so that's good news)...how long will it take for the whole process to be over with after immigration receives it....the doctor also has the email addy of the immigration officer working on his file.....everything else is all in order and fine ....this is the only thing now holding us back....thanks in advance for any help

If the Panel Physician is e-medical enabled it should only take a couple weeks to get IMS to complete their review. If it is a paper file submission, it seems to take about a month. Then the visa officer will have the medical results and should be able to resume processing your application.

As in e-medical does that mean submitting the medical results online...the doctor stated that she has the ability now to do that....when the medicals were first done in Jan she mailed the results in.....and as far as complete review everything else I believe has been reviewed just awaiting the medical results..(and saying all of this without the words going through my head lol).....here's hoping anyway...and thanks again for answering my question and so quickly

I asked this on a separate thread, but not one reply, so I'm hoping someone on this topic might know about this...

My U.S. passport (underneath my photo) says something about: endorsements see page 27...but page 27 is blank. Should we have made a copy of page 27 to show that it is blank? Does anyone know what is meant by "endorsements"? Would the visa office want to see that page even if it is blank?

We sent off a copy of the picture page of my passport a few days ago, but then hubby noticed that endorsement stuff and now we are worried we should have sent them a copy of that page as well. Should we send another email with that page also? Any help would be much appreciated!

Well after 13months of waiting and my application being sent from Ottawa to LA I finally got an email yesterday requesting an interview in December as well as a ton of other documents that we already sent in like police criminal check, proof of finance, pictures etc. strange as we sent in over 100 pics initially. Anyone has any idea what they ask if a interview is requested. What are they looking for?

They ask questions to find out if you have a sincere and loving relationship. You can use these questions to help you not be so nervous because you can be a little more mentally prepared, but don't try to memorize them and have all your answers memorized because then maybe you will sound too rehearsed. The most important thing is to be honest and be yourself. Help them to see that your relationship is real and because you care about each other even though you might not answer every question "correctly" because there is no correct answer except an honest one. Sometimes the correct answer is "I don't know", but if they see that you can't live without each other, that is what they need to know.

Unless CIC asked for the endorsement page, don't bother. Don't worry, if it was needed they would have requested it. Seems like you're in the final stage now of waiting for COPR. Congrats

My second passport actually has an endorsement. "This passport expires November 28 2013 and was issued by the department of state under 22 cfr 51.2.b". But endorsements are unusual - and that isn't on my first (primary) passport.

I needed to obtain a visa and there was no way I could turn over my passport for three weeks to the Consulate (I was scheduled to be traveling in Europe). US law permits issuing a second (two year) passport in such circumstances. So I have a now expired visa for India in my second passport.

Ok I see. I'm glad they let me send in a copy because I was worried I'd have to part with mine...although I'm allowed to cross back and forth with my enhanced DL.
