CPP-Ottawa Processing time after Buffalo closing

Jan 10th. I didn't get any emails from CPP-O. Only AOR and PPR.

Hi Applefanboy. First of all congratulations on you PPR, it's really good news for you and for people that are waiting for their PPR from Ottawa. You said an interesting piece of information that your ECAS still only shows Application Received. So you never actually got the IN PROCESS line? Your application was received in January, could you specify the date? Have you requested your GCMS notes during your process and what did they say? Thanks for your info, it gives hope to us all!

Sep 2011 - Submitted NBPNP Application
Dec 2011 - Nominated by NB
Jan 2012 - Received in CIC
Feb 2012 - Got email from CPP-OTTAWA and ME request
Feb 2012 - ME done.
March 2012 - CIC website: Application Received and ME received
August 2012 - PPR

Congratulations! I am also a NB provincial nominee currently working in Moncton. My application is 'Inprocess' and has been so for the past one month. I did like to know if the request for passport was sent via email or via canada post to your residential address?
And has your ecas status changed to 'Decision Made'?

No, my ecase status is not "Decision Made." I tracked my package to Detroit. It was just received. In terms of the average time I found in this forum, it might takes one-month to finalize my application after PPR.

In terms of my experience and the track list in this forum, I found different ppl have different processing time. When did you get your AOR and finish ME? If they are very close to mine, I guess you will get PPR very soon.

I got PPR today. However, my online status is still application received. I'm required to send my PP to Detroit. So, CPP-OTTAWA is actually working.

jonmoc - If i am reading this correctly, your visa office is OTTAWA and not buffalo, is that right ?

I paid my PNP application fee when I was required by a provincial immigration officer last year. I was required to pay my federal application fee in the email of PPR. I did a certified cheque, and submitted it along with my passport.

We are pretty on the same boat. You are just a couple of weeks behind me. I wasn't required to do criminal check. In terms of what my friend's immigration lawyer said, the criminal check is randomly assigned to applicants. I believe you will get your PPR very soon.

i have exact same time line as yours, they asked me for medical on feb 09,2012. but they ask me for rcmp check and fingerprints on feb 29,2012. the same day they start processing my application. i wonder how you got the result of RCMP check within a week?
