Hi all,
I worked in Canada from July 2010 — June 2012. I am a New Zealand resident now. I have made contributions to the CPP, but how does one get it transferred out? There seems to be an agreement between Canada and NZ on social securities, but when I contacted Inland Revenue ( NZ tax organisation ) they said there wasn't such an agreement.
I imagine there have been thousands of temporary workers in Canada ( working holidays etc ) and have made contributions. But I could not find how to claim these deductions. Anyone help with this?
Thank you,
Simon.
