Hi All the forum members,

It feels great to share with you all that I have finally been granted full exemption from 3 years experience requirements, PREP, except Canadian Law course and only have to clear Capstone 1 and 2 and CFE. Final Assessment decision was mailed to me. Hoping to complete the course requirements soon.

Do you know anything about for those who have completed all 14 courses of ACCA but not the experience requirement?

Thanks, I am not in Canada, I am from India, and I wish to pursue it from India. I shall travel to Canada whenever needed.

I am accounting professional with more than 13 years of diverse experience in auditing, compliance, accounting and finance. I am a CMA in India and also have completed M.Com, MBA(Finance) and a qualified CISA.

Sorry I have no idea about ACCA students. But as far as my knowledge gathered from the interactions I had with CPA Ontario office goes, ACCA is not recognized by CPA for any exemption purpose.

acca is accepted by cpacanada , if training is missing then candidate has to complete training in Canada. Along other required papers and formalities

NO ADMISSION FOM OUTSIDE CANADA. FIST TAKE ADMISSIN THEN CPA WILL PROVIDE YOU DETAILS.

HOW MUCH YOU PAID FOR YOUR ADMISSION? THIS IS ONLY ASSESSMENT AND NOT ADMISSION.

ONLY CITIZEN AND PR HOLDERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE ADMISSION. CPA IS NOT ISSIUNG STUDENT VISA FOR CPA ADMISSION.

Hello there,

I saw some posts re. ACCA Affiliate status & CPA entry/exemption requirements. But can't seem to find a definite answers for my questions...

Can someone please suggest what should I do & where should I start.....My situation is as follows...& I would like to start working towards CPA Designation.

- I have ACCA Affiliate status but no full membership. from UK (2005 - 2007)
- I have completed Masters in International Accounting from Anglia Ruskin Uni. from UK (2009 - 2010)
- I have completed Bachelor of Commerce from India (2002 - 2005)

Based on above, If I am to apply for CPA Exemption - How many modules/levels am I likely to get exemption ? And How many remaining courses would I have to take ?

If someone can please reply with info. you know, I will appreciate it.

CPA Canada (CMA/CGA/CA)

CPA Canada now accepts all IFAC members, and offers professional accountants many exemptions and now qualified IFAC members institute have to go for Capstone 1, and capstone 2 pathway

now ICMAP, ICWAI are accepted for exemptions from CPA canada
