Pardon me. Now I have conflicting answers from a VIP and a Hero member.
I will try to rephrase - I am applying for Canada immigration (of course). As part of this, I am obtaining a PCC for my stay in India (I am an Indian citizen). This can be done at the Passport centre. To set up an appointment, I have to login to the passport portal and fill in a few details.
One of those details include a question:
"Country for which PCC is required" with a drop down menu (with all list of countries). Should I be selecting "India" or "Canada" from the drop down?
- I feel its "India" - How would Indian passport centre grant me a PCC for my stay in a different country?
- Confused if its "Canada" - Why else do they have a drop down menu? + "country for which PCC is required" sounds as if its asking for purpose?
Response from an expat or anyone who has been through this is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ramanan
