That's clear now that it will be 8000 applications from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015. +1 to you for posting link.

They are only going to accept 8,000 CEC application over the year from May 01, 2014 to April 30, 2015. I think CIC will no longer accept CEC in couple of years.

Its clear now that only the total number of applications are reduced from 12K to 8K while per occupation the number of application will remain same 200 ... I believe the the cap will be diminished by early December if we see the ratio of applications submitted from November last year.

May be in October or November 2014, they will send another notice with a change for CEC.

So now am confused? I have applied for celpip in June,12.and until now in ny NOC they have only received 2 applications? Am in skill B! Will i be able to apply am hoping that in July i will have all ready!!! Thanks.

There wont be any impact since there is no new rule. Its basically the same rule with new caps.
