Could child have OCI with one of the parents still on PR?

Hello,

Dad and His Child would like to apply for Canadian Citizenship. But, Child's Mom prefers to stay as a PR only.

Post citizenship grant, could Dad and Child apply for OCI(Overseas Citizen of India) while Mom continue to hold Indian Citizenship? Would that work or for child both parents need to be on OCI too? Could you please clarify?

As you child is Indian, OCI on Self basics is allowed for them. No dependency on parents citizenship status, even of mom. Just need to follow documentation requirement for kid application.
